In general, the DJ setup refers to the equipment used within the DJ booth. This typically includes:

  • Playback devices: CDJs, turntables, or digital controllers

  • Mixers and effects units

  • Drum machines and synthesizers (if live elements are involved)

  • Microphones and other performance tools

The sound system is a separate component and covers everything related to audio output, such as:

  • Amplifiers and signal processors

  • Speakers and subwoofers

  • Cables, stands, and other audio infrastructure

Depending on the venue and the scale of the event, the setup can range from a compact club rig to a full-scale professional system for large festivals or open-air parties.

Yes. As a fully equipped digital DJ, I bring everything I need to perform professionally in the DJ booth. My personal setup includes:

  • MacBook Pro with performance software

  • PRO grade DJ console/controller

  • Professional audio mixer

  • In-ear monitoring system

  • Several MIDI controllers

  • High-quality DJ headphones

  • Wireless microphone (available upon request)

  • All necessary cables, stands, and protective cases

This allows me to ensure a reliable, high-quality performance in any venue, whether it’s a club, yacht, luxury event, or cruise ship.

No, I don’t typically provide full sound and lighting systems myself. Most of the venues I’ve had the pleasure of working with—such as clubs, hotels, cruise ships, and luxury event spaces—are already equipped with their own professional-grade audio and lighting setups.

However, when needed and upon request, I can coordinate with trusted partner companies that specialize in:

  • Professional sound systems

  • Stage and ambient lighting

  • Special effects (e.g. fog, CO₂ jets)

  • Pyrotechnics and visual enhancements

This ensures a seamless and high-impact experience tailored to your event’s scale and style.

I generally avoid using a microphone while performing. With over 20 years of professional experience as a DJ (disc jockey), I’ve found that speaking on the mic can distract from the quality and flow of the set and mix—elements I believe should speak for themselves.

While some DJs incorporate microphone use into their style, I prefer to focus entirely on delivering a seamless musical experience.

If microphone interaction is essential for your event, I can recommend and coordinate with professional MCs (Masters of Ceremony) whose job is to energize the crowd and handle announcements. Contact details are available upon request.

It depends. If a request fits the music styles I specialize in and I feel it will elevate the energy of the crowd, I’m happy to consider it. However, I generally avoid repeating tracks during my sets, as I aim to deliver a fresh and flowing musical journey every time.

That said, please note: I do not accommodate requests to download tracks on the spot, play songs from YouTube, mobile phones, USB drives, or any external devices. These types of requests are not only technically inappropriate during a live set—they’re also considered unprofessional and disrespectful to both the DJ and the event.

Regardless of the financial offer, I do not accept work proposals that don’t allow enough time for proper planning and preparation. As a professional DJ, I take every performance seriously and believe that delivering a high-quality set requires careful attention to detail—from music selection and transitions to technical setup and logistics.

Rushed bookings compromise not only the artistic integrity of the performance but also the overall experience for the audience. For that reason, I kindly ask all clients to get in touch at least several days in advance to ensure everything is organized to the highest standard.

Yes, I am fully vaccinated. I received the Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) vaccine, followed by a Pfizer booster. I can provide all necessary health certificates and vaccination documents upon request, in accordance with event or travel requirements.

Yes. I hold the following internationally recognized safety certificates, all issued in Bulgaria (EU):

  • Basic Safety Training

  • Safety Training for Personnel Providing Direct Services to Passengers in Passenger Areas

  • Passenger Ship Crowd Management

  • Passenger and Cargo Safety & Hull Integrity Training

  • Training for Seafarers with Designated Security Duties

  • Crisis Management and Human Behaviour Training

These certifications ensure that I meet maritime safety standards and am fully qualified to work on passenger ships, including cruise ships and yachts. All documents can be presented upon request.

To secure your booking, a 50% deposit of the agreed price is required. Your event will be officially added to my calendar only after the deposit has been received. This deposit must be paid at least 2 days before the event.

The deposit guarantees that I will exclusively reserve the date for your event and will not accept any other offers for that time.

Please note: The deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel or change your plans, the deposit will not be returned.

The remaining 50% is due immediately upon completion of the performance.

If needed, an invoice can be issued after full payment has been received.

On the event day, I typically arrive 2 to 4 hours before the scheduled start time, depending on the equipment setup required. This ensures I have ample time to:

  • Set up and test all sound and lighting equipment

  • Perform a full soundcheck to ensure optimal audio quality and avoid technical issues

  • Confirm that everything is ready before your guests arrive

I also meet with your event organizers or promotional team to review any last-minute details. If promoters are involved, I can provide helpful insights and promotional cues to help them energize the event and communicate effectively with the crowd.
